Mr. Transou serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Flagship Capital Partners. In this capacity, Mr. Transou oversees all aspects of the Firm’s acquisition and portfolio management with primary responsibility for the areas of deal structures, financing, brokerage, and asset administration.

With over 25 years of corporate and investment real estate experience, Mr. Transou has extensive knowledge of asset management and corporate real estate to manage and analyze investment opportunities. Before joining Flagship Capital Partners, he served as Vice President of Asset Management and Property Management for the American Financial Realty Trust, a self-administered Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) headquartered in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. He spent 14 years with Wachovia Bank (formerly First Union) and 10 years with Hardee’s Food System, both centered on asset and acquisitions management in their respective headquarters and regional functions with expertise in site selection, due diligence, and lending related activities.

Mr. Transou serves as the Broker-in-Charge for Flagship Capital Partners and related entities. He is a licensed real estate broker in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Mr. Transou is an active member of CoreNet Global, the International Council Shopping Centers (ICSC), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), where he has been acknowledged for the third consecutive year as a Deal Maker Gold Winner in recognition for his investment transactions exceeding over $10 million per year.

He is also involved with Hospice of Charlotte, Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte and the Arts and Science Council.
