James E. Rogers, CCIM Senior Vice President 704.971.4882 Mr. Rogers is a co-founder and Senior Vice President with Flagship Capital Partners. In this capacity, Mr. Rogers sources new acquisition and brokerage opportunities for the Firm. With his considerable experience and network of contacts, Mr. Rogers has generated a significant volume of business for the Firm and has played an integral role in its growth. Prior to co-founding Flagship Capital Partners, Mr. Rogers was founding partner of Cauble and Company of Carolina in 1982, a commercial mortgage banking and investment sales company. Cauble was bought by L.J. Melody & Co. in 1998. Mr. Rogers received a B.S. and a M.B.A. degree from East Tennessee State University. He served as President of the National Alumni Association and received the Award of Honor from the University. He has also been inducted into the Hall Of Fame of the College of Business and Technology for Lifetime Achievement. He received ETSU's highest alumni award as the 2009 Outstanding Alumnus. He presently sits on the Board of Advisors for the College of Business and Technology. Mr. Rogers was recognized as a member of the ETSU Distinguished President’s Trust. He also graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 1977. Mr. Rogers served as founding President of Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and served a two-year term. That first year he was Overall Top Producer for CRCBR and in 1997 was named Realtor of the Year. In addition, he served as President of the North Carolina Income Property Association and Lambda Alpha International. He has served on the boards of the North Carolina Association of Realtors, SPPACE, and the Charlotte Apartment Association. He is a past board member of the Board of Advisors of First Charter Bank. Mr. Rogers received his CCIM designation in 1987. Within his community, Mr. Rogers has served as President of the Board of Trustees for the University of NC at Charlotte Athletic Foundation, Leadership Charlotte, American Lung Association, The Charlotte Pops Orchestra, and Chairman of the Childress Klein YMCA. He has served on the Boards of WTVI Channel 42, The Arts and Science Council, Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, Spirit Square Center for the Arts, North Carolina Dance Theatre, Charlotte Repertory Theatre, Lynwood Foundation, The American Heart Association, and Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont. Mr. Rogers has received numerous honors and awards, including: Leadership Charlotte’s Shelly R. Lyons Circle of Excellence Award, the YMCA George Williams Life Time Achievement Award, the Distinguished Leadership Award from the National Association for Community Leadership, Charlotte Regional Realtor Association Citizenship Award and Volunteer of the Year Award from the American Lung Association.
