In this capacity, Mr. Broyhill provides extensive expertise and counsel to the Management Team and serves as an active participant in the overall management of the Firm. Mr. Broyhill has over 22 years experience in the areas of investment real estate, fund administration and management, and diversified investment portfolio management. Mr. Broyhill serves as Chief Executive Officer of Broyhill Asset Management, LLC (BAM). Formed in 1997, BAM is the General Partner to a hedge fund of funds, The Broyhill All-Weather Fund, LP. The objective for this fund is to provide superior risk-adjusted returns with lower volatility than the general stock and bond markets. Mr. Broyhill also serves as the President of BMC Fund, Inc., a registered mutual fund. Mr. Broyhill is also the President of Broyhill Investments, Inc.; Broyhill Timber Resources, Inc.; The Broyhill Family Foundation, Inc.; H.B. Development, Inc.; and Broyhill Realty, Inc. He also serves as a General Partner of Capital South Partners, LLC, a mezzanine and equity investment fund for lower middle market companies, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of LearningStation.com. Mr. Broyhill is very active civically and participates on the following Boards of Directors: Caldwell Community College Foundation (Investment Committee Chair); Executive Board Piedmont Council, Boy Scouts of America; North Carolina Chamber of Commerce; and North Carolina Community College Foundation. A graduate of Episcopal High School and Wake Forest University, Mr. Broyhill has successfully completed Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 examinations to earn the designation as a Registered Representative and General Securities Principal with the Securities and Exchange Commission. His hobbies include: aviation, sailing, snow skiing, distance bike riding and scuba diving. He holds private/multi-engine/instrument pilot ratings.
