Genworth Building Receives Leed-Gold Certification

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded the Gold level of LEED - Core & Shell certification to Raleigh's Genworth Building, making it the first building in Wake County to receive the designation. The Genworth Building is a Class A office building located on 4.93 acres at 8325 Six Forks Road. It contains 134,152 square feet of space over six stories. It currently serves as the headquarters for the mortgage insurance division of Genworth Financial. The build team consists of Choate Construction and Atlanta-based MSTSD Architects. The development team consists of Dominium Realty Partners, Helvetica Flagship and Newcastle Properties.
